Review Meeting regarding Repair Work of Roads Damaged due to Excessive Rainfall

In the light of the fact that repair work of roads damaged due to excessive rainfall was slow and there was a lack of proper drainage system to prevent water logging on most of these roads, the Divisional Commissioner, Shri Sanjay Goyal, expressed his displeasure in a joint review meeting of all the concerned departments held on August 25. Reprimanding the officers of these concerned departments, he directed them to identify all damaged roads/areas, prepare a list and present it before him within 24 hours. He also directed to constitute a special team under the chairmanship of Municipal Commissioner to expedite this work.
