    The 13th Board meeting of Prayagraj Smart City Limited was held under the chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner.

    Instructions were given to fix the deadline for all smart city works.

    Ensure vendor onboarding within 45 days after in-principle or full approval.

    The 13th board meeting of Prayagraj Smart City Limited (PSCL) was held under the chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner, Shri Sanjay Goyal, on July 17, in which a number of important directions were given. While reviewing the progress of Smart City projects, Shri Goyal directed officials to fix the deadline for all projects being undertaken under Smart City Scheme and complete vendor onboarding within 45 days from the date of in-principle or full approval by the PSCL Board.

    Shri Goyal also directed the Project Management Consultancy (PMC) to discuss all challenges related to the execution of the project with the executing agency and update the board about it on a regular basis so that actions could be taken to resolve them timely. He also averred that inspite of getting support and solutions from the board, if the projects still missed the deadline, then strict action would be taken against the executing agency.

    While discussing the proposed light and sound show to showcase the history of Prayagraj at Chandra Shekhar Azad Park, the Commissioner directed the concerned officials to explore the feasibility of both mediums, projector as well as laser (show) for running the light and sound shows. He also suggested developing tourist points at different places of the city to enhance tourism.

    Regarding the smart lighting project which requires integration with Integrated Command and Control Center to automatically switch on and off the street lights, he suggested adding a grievance redressal mechanism to it so that the public grievances related to electricity on the road could also be resolved in time. Besides, hiring an expert agency, by following the tender process, to protect the heritage of Allahabad Public Library building as well as to enhance it technologically, was also discussed. Shri Goyal also directed the smart city team to make permanent arrangements for the maintenance of numerous bus shelters being constructed post the expiry of the maintenance contract.

    District Magistrate, Prayagraj. Shri Sanjay Khatri, Chief Executive Officer, Prayagraj Smart City Limited and Municipal Commissioner, Shri Ravi Ranjan, Mission Manager, Technical, PSCL, Shri Sanjeev Sinha and other officials were also present in the meeting.
