Pratapgarh District Visit of Divisional Commissioner, Shri Sanjay Goyal

The Divisional Commissioner did a surprise inspection of the under-construction Divyangjan North Secondary School in Barhni, Pratapgarh on 5th August. On finding dampness on the walls of the rooms and slope of the ramp for Divyanjan not properly constructed, he reprimanded the concerned JE and asked him to ensure quality in all future works.

Under the Chairmanship of the Divisional Commissioner, a review meeting of projects worth more than 50 lakhs was held in Pratapgarh on August 5. In the meeting, he was apprised that 196 works worth above 50 lakhs are approved in the district, but work on 19 of them has not been able to start. The Commissioner directed the concerned officials to start work on unbegun projects immediately and finish ongoing ones soon.

Under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, grand events were organized at all 1370 fair price shops in Pratapgarh on August 5. Hon’ble Minister Moti Singh, Hon’ble MLAs, Municipality President and other public representatives distributed free ration and bags in these events. Divisional Commissioner also participated in the one organized at Teunga and distributed free ration and bags.
